Even though Trebol Clan's new album "Fantasia Musical" technically leaked a couple weeks ago, the album officially dropped today, so here's the review. A lot of people have had very different opinions on this album, some people like it while others really hate it. I personally feel that the album is definitely solid but at the same time it does not come even close to what Trebol Clan is truly capable of doing. The problem with this album is that they tried to go a little too commerical with it and unfortunately for them, that really doesn't suit their style really well. Although they did have some real good reggaeton tracks on this album like "Digale," "Fuga," and "Gata Sata," they failed miserably with tracks like "Otro Beso" and "Por Ti." Maybe Tito El Bambino and RKM y Ken-Y can go the pop route but these dudes should just stick to what their good at and thats perreo with a lil bit of romantiqueo like they did in their cyber album "The Comeback." All in all, the album is straight. A lot of the songs are catchy and the majority of the beats are pretty good. It might not be their best album and it might not be a classic like "Los Bacatranes," but for what its worth and for what they tried to do with it, the album is acceptable, and Trebol Clan should deserve some credit for at least trying to go in a new direction.
